Today, hundreds of CubeSats are launched every year and the availability of propulsion subsystems has become crucial to enable mobility, to expand mission capabilities and to enhance utilisation aspects of this class of satellites. This presentation provides a summary of the activities ongoing at ESA on CubeSat Propulsion. It summarizes ongoing developments achievements and findings from the 2024 Harmonisation process with particular emphasis on: state-of-art, mission needs, technology gaps, market perspective, technology trends and opportunities. It describes the Roadmap proposed to advance this technology in Europe, to increase competitiveness, enable industrialization and mass production, and ensure European independence.
