IQ spacecom, a business division of the German IQ Technologies for Earth and Space GmbH, comprises high-performance radio communication solutions providing flexible and highly efficient broadband data communication for small satellites. The equipment has been qualified for over 15 years of operation in low earth orbit and is used for scientific missions, Earth observation, remote sensing and communication solutions. Outstanding hardware and software platforms enable a fast, flexible and reliable adaptation to customer-specific requirements. Dedicated communication systems can be provided for instance for multi-access satellite solutions, inter satellite links or IoT applications.
The latest product is the XLink Software Defined Radio (SDR), a fully featured bidirectional transceiver platform that supports X-, S-, L-, and Ka-band communication links and forms the basis for various solutions such as the Go.BIC service.
The technological innovations are researched, developed, manufactured, and tested by more than 50 employees at the company’s headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
