Seven IOD CubeSat missions, totalling 11 CubeSats, are being designed, assembled and prepared for launch by small and medium-sized companies and universities across Greece. These missions are developed as part of the Greek National Satellites Space Project initiated by the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance, funded by the EU commission via the RRF mechanism and implemented by the European Space Agency. The 11 CubeSats, scheduled to launch in 2025 and 2026, showcase the nation’s growing space industry and its dedication to enhancing space applications, including secure optical and radio frequency (RF) communications, IoT connectivity, Earth observation, and RF spectrum monitoring.
