Ane Aanesland is a Norwegian deep-tech entrepreneur and co-founder of ThrustMe, a scale-up providing hihgly integrated and intelligent propulsion solutions for industrialized satellites. She holds a PhD in plasma physics and previously led a research lab at École Polytechnique, pioneering innovations in electric space propulsion. In 2020, ThrustMe became the first company to demonstrate an iodine-propelled electric propulsion system in space. Today, it operates a large-scale production line, supplying major satellite constellations worldwide. Aanesland’s contributions to science and innovation have earned her the CNRS Innovation Medal (2019) and recognition as an ambassador for France’s 2030 space strategy (2022).
