Dr.-Ing. Arianit Preci is the Head of Department for Robotics, Digitalisation and AI at the German Space Agency at DLR. The Agency coordinates German space activities at national and European levels and represents German space interests worldwide on behalf of the Federal Government. The Department for Robotics, Digitalisation and AI funds innovative technology developments in key areas in order to enable future missions. Arianits tasks include the planning and implementation of the national space programme in the field of general space technologies and small satellites.
Arianit holds a PhD in aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart on the topic of modelling of hypersonic flows during atmospheric entry flights. He has been with the DLR since 2013 researching supersonic and hypersonic technologies. He then moved to the space agency leading projects in robotics and electric propulsion systems.
